As part of the Honors Lawyering Program's Lawyering Skills course at Golden Gate University School of Law, Elizabeth represented a group of tenants in a landlord-tenant case. Elizabeth held her own against the landlord's seasoned attorney at a JAMS mediation and her insights into the case were critical in securing for our clients a sizeable settlement. Elizabeth's outstanding performance earned her the Witkin Award for Academic Excellence for the course.
